International forum of solidarity- IFS-EMMAUS, with the support of Federal Ministry of education and science, is implementing project „Prevention of abuse of children in digital environment”. Goal of the project is to raise awareness about abuse and exploitation of children in digital environment, as well as prevention of all forms of violence against children and youth in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Within the project IFS-EMMAUS will organize one-day educational workshop for representatives of Parents council and school representatives of elementary and high schools in Bihac on November 29th 2018, with consent of Ministry of education, science, culture and sport of Una-Sana Canton.
Workshop will be led by experienced educators- IMF-EMMAUS expert with multi annual experience in “Child protection in digital environment” field and criminology professor- expert in fields of child protection, protection of children online and coeval violence. During workshop, participants will have chance to educate themselves on prevention of abuse and exploitation of children in digital environment, internet safety and introduce themselves with positive and negative content children and youth can encounter when using informational and communication technologies.
Same workshop was held on November 23rd 2018 in Mostar. Around 20 participants, representatives of Parents council and school representatives of elementary and high schools were educated on ways and tools for prevention of children abuse in digital environment and other related topics.
