On 20-21. February, 2017, at the Hotel Bristol, Sarajevo, the Workshop was held on the topic of “Fight against Child Sexual Abuse Online” organized by the Ministry of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Technical Assistance and Information Exchange instrument of the European Commission (TAIEX).
Objective of the workshop is to increase efficiency in the fight against any form of abuse and ill-treatment of children and adolescents through information and communication technologies, and contributing to the improvement of institutional capacities in order to prevent sexual abuse of children on the Internet in accordance with international standards and best practices, with special emphasis on the aspect of investigation and European cooperation. The present workshop aims at strengthening institutional capacities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the development and strengthening the cooperation in order to react more efficiently in the fight against this manifestation of organized crime.
At the workshop, Ms. Amela Efendic participated in front of the International Forum of Solidarity – EMMAUS.
