VIOLENCE AGAINST CHILDREN BY INFORMATION-COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES

UPDATED POLICE TRAINING – I MODULE
 
Given the need to create a curriculum for the police academy, the Ministry of Security of BiH, in cooperation with Save the Children, develops project activities with the aim of improving the knowledge of police officers regarding child abuse issues through information-communication technologies and with the aim of mapping the existing capacities for establishing effective systems for combating sexual violence on the internet and other forms of child abuse on the Internet.
 
In order to implement these activities, Training of Trainers (ToT) was planned and organized for the period 07. – 09. August 2017, at hotel Lavina, in Jahorina, where Amela Efendić, IFS – Emmaus Expert Advisor, EURC CEO and Manager of BiH Internet hotline for the reporting of online child abuse and exploitation, will attend. The primary objective of this module is to improve the knowledge of officials representing a group of educated and certified persons, who would further systematically be able to improve knowledge in the given field.
 
As part of the same activity, another module is planned to be held for 28-30. August 2017, also at hotel Lavina, in Jahorina.

Day 2:

On the second day of the workshop, participants have worked on real life Cyber crime case studies.
